About
Finding balance during life’s transitions can feel overwhelming, especially when responsibilities, relationships, and emotions are shifting all at once. Mountain Mindfulness Therapy exists to provide a steady, supportive space where adults can pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.
Whether navigating caregiving roles, evolving family dynamics, or personal emotional challenges, clients are met with compassion, respect, and understanding. No one is expected to have it all figured out before beginning.
Meet Michelle Nelson, LCSW
Michelle Nelson, LCSW, is a seasoned psychotherapist with over twenty-two years of experience supporting adults through stress, grief, and life transitions. She provides a calm, judgement space for overwhelmed individuals who are navigating emotional and relational challenges of a parent’s aging process, including chronic health changes, role shifts, and grief.
Drawing from mindfulness, somatic approaches, ACT, and CBT, Michelle helps clients reconnect with their own needs and move through challenges addressing guilt or self-judgment. Her work is rooted in the belief that caregivers and adult children deserve meaningful support and that healing begins when they no longer have to hold everything alone.
