In Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), you’ll learn how to practice mindfulness in exercises designed to foster a greater awareness of your thoughts and emotions. During these mindfulness exercises, you learn to stay with what is happening in the present moment so that you don’t let your life run on auto-pilot.
